ships little communities
full of love, hate, anger, fear,
desire
under the elms
a novel, a mythical tragedy
borrowed from the
Greeks
an ancient people of great renown
for their effect on
Western Civilization
and its epitome
America
may be waning
from constituent fear, ignorance, lies, misinformation,
selfishness, party first, country second.
I hold these truths
to be self-evident…..
